They include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Automated Scanning: This provides a quick (but not complete) overview of issues that persons may encounter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guidance: Provision of guidance to content editors such as using Alternate Text<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manual Review: Regularly performing manual review of each site and adjusting the site to help improve accessibility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>This website\u2019s conformance with official accessibility guidelines<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The website currently has\u00a0<strong>partial<\/strong>\u00a0conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at AA Level. Our most recent web accessibility audit for this website was on 26\/01\/2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Areas for improvement and time-lines<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are aware of some areas on the website where we could improve accessibility. We are currently working to achieve this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Areas for improvement, time-lines for improvement, and alternatives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Image Based Old Event Posters: We hope to have improved the accessibility of the site by ensuring all events posters are written in a textual format to enable screen readers read the content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sub-menus not accessible by Keyboard: This issue aims to be resolved with the new Nature Reserves template or the adjustment of menu for a more accessible solution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nivo Slider Keyboard Trap\/Pause: This issue aims to be resolved with the new Nature Reserves template or the removal of Nivo Slider for a more accessible solution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carousel Controls: The carousel lacks pause functionality and up\/down keyboard navigation. The updates need it to function correctly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Icon Image: An icon image is missing an alternative attribute.
